Defective NVidia GPUs: Dell Extends its Warranty

In order to prevent any problems or legal actions from unlucky/unsatisfied customers, Dell decided to extend by one year the warranty on laptops hosting a potentially defective NVidia GPU.
In most EU countries, such situation will be more complicated for both NVidia and computer companies. Indeed, as the defective GPU are considered as a hidden defect, officially acknowledged by NVidia, the one year warranty extension will not work, and in most EU countries, it will translate into a time unlimited warranty as defined by the law for such case.
While last week, we were reporting the first cases of dead MBP due to defective NVidia GPUs, we are still waiting for an official statement from Apple regarding this issue.
