A rumour implies that Apple, to better fight on the grounds of RIM, could propose a service of "Push mall" on the iPhone. For that, they will have to update their service of .mac mail.
A rumour that we hear states that they have decided to restart this aging service by altering it in-depth.
One speaks about new synchronizations and backups but also using these services under Windows, which would not be surprising, the portage of Safari has shown that Apple is willing to work with the OS from Microsoft.
Let us hope that use this opportunity to improve the .Mac access from Europe.

It is the turn of Climate Counts, an ecological association to target Apple.
They have just published a classification where Apple only obtains 11 points out of 100 for its fight against global warming, very far behind the Leader, IBM.
This classification is not based on facts, but on intentions announced by the companies to reduce the production of greenhouse gas, a subject on which Apple does not communicate.
This classification thus has little practical value.

Hitachi retakes the lead by announcing its new high performances hard disk for portable computers.
As its name indicates, the Travelstar 7K320 will spin at 7200 rpm and will have a maximum capacity of 320 GB. According to Hitachi, it will not consume more than a disk running at 5400 rpm, but will be 22% more performant than the preceding generation while consuming 12% less power.
It is announced to have a maximum 12 ms and seems quiet, with 28 dB.
It is in the course of marketing and will be supplied only with a SATA interface.
