NVidia dresses up its old chips and calls them new

NVidia will shortly announce its new reference of video cards for portable computers - the 9500M GS and the 9300M GT.
If you believe that these products will find their way into the next MacBook Pro thus the release must be imminent - you should know that you are being fooled. In effect the 9500 GS is already installed in the Santa Rosa machines.
NVidia has not created anything new - it has been content just to change the name of the old chips. The 9300M GT is identical to the old 8400M GT and the 9500M GS is a perfect copy of the 8600M GT already fitted in the MBP for several months!
Certainly the uninformed will believe that thay are buying a more powerful product, something that marketing department will do nothing to disavow.
