- A little word on the True Power Batteries for the MBP 15 - Lionel - 22:30:22
During the last year we have spoken about TruePower batteries destined for the MacBook and all the good points that we found with it.
A MacBook Pro 15" battery after one year of use started to lose too much power, so we decided to take one of the same make to replace it.

As you can see it on the screen capture, this battery has a capacity of a little more than 6000 mAh against 5500 for that of the Apple battery. Thus a battery charge will last approximately 10% longer.
We carried out several cycles of load and total discharge and noted a very good behaviour of the battery since the capacity did not start to decrease after a few cycles like that of Apple. Since the cost is similar, it could deprive Apple of some sales of replacement batteries.

PS: We await impatiently for them to propose a model for the MAcBook Air.

Firefox 3 is going be released in a few days. In order to create a buzz for the release, they have created an initiative called "Download Day".
The goal is simple, you sign up, and you promise to download the software within the first 24 hours of its release so that they can beat the record for most downloads in a day and put the software in the Guinness Book of World Records.
The details are available at the following page:
