- A Beautiful Mod: a Mac Pro mini - Lionel - 15:02:21

We and numerous Mac users are expecting 2 things from Apple: an update of the Mac mini, and a entry-level tower model which will be cheaper than the mac Pro.
On the blog Hahabusa illustrates how one could mod a Mac mini into a Mac Pro design, a Mac Pro mini.

Our congratulations to the author of this mod, as the quality of the design and the integration are really amazing. Of course, it would be great to have a PCI-Express slot, something impossible in the current Mac mini, but let's hope that such mod will push Steve &Co to finally offer Mac users the entry level tower model that many of use are waiting for. Bringing less crunching power than the Mac Pro while leaving the ability to add 2 HDs and 2 optical drives and a true upgradable graphic card.
