Max Flow or How to Better Cool Down Mac Pro FB-DIMM Modules

Charles, one of our readers, purchased a kit specifically designed to improve cool down of Mac Pro FB-DIMM memory modules.

Once installed, this system significantly decreased the average temperature of the modules without affecting the overall silent working level of the Mac Pro.

Is the NAS Ready for the Mass?

The NAS (Network Area Storage) is a flexible storage solution for Pro users, but also for home. If the concept is far from being new, manufacturers developed consumers-oriented solutions, making NAS solution a good alternative for home usage, and to potentially replace many external HDs currently connected to home computers.
In our first article dedicated to NAS, we will present 3 models, not the most recent one, but 3 models which have proven their robustness and efficiency as a home storage solution for most users. With this article we also want to highlight some points to consider when choosing a NAS for home.
