Apple Finally Boosts .mac Servers?

Although the OS X Software Update server perform well, .mac users have not experienced the same level of speed.
It could even be said that with the release of iWeb 08, which has made the putting galleries of photos and videos online rather easy, the speed of the server have become decidedly slow for a "preimum" server from Apple.
Last week, in a communication, the company indicated that they have finally accelerated the download of Web galleries hosted by .mac in Europe. Without precisely stating how this was done, they explain that they have reacted to a topic on their forums... with over 790 posts.

However, according to macuser (registration requires), this acceleration does not affect one of the essential elements of .mac, iDisk. Apple needs to do better for these 99€ per year accounts.
