Read and write performance levels are incredible, with 800 MB/s and 600 MB/S respectively. To reach such speed, the card hardware reads and writes simultaneously to several NAND chips (a king a NAND chips RAID Stripping).
The SSD PCI Express card will be available initially with storage space ranging from 80, 260 and 320 GB; and a high-end model planned for Q1 2008 should offer 640 GB capacity. Unlike other companies, prices are already known and vary from "only" US$ 2,400 for the 80 GB model to US$ 19,000 for the high-end model. Only Linux and Windows drivers are currently available.
