According to Digitimes, Apple would have selected Wintek, a Taiwan-based company, as the panel supplier for the new iPod video expected to be launched next month. The iPod 6G is rumored to feature a touch screen panel similar to the iPhone's one.
IPod fans should remain calm, as the new iPod will come one day or the other, so no reason to get excited, even though the current model is currently scoring a record in iPod life as being the longest revision.
