Getting Ready for the NAB and "Lights Camera"

By linathael. Original by Lionel - 14/04/2007 12:32:15 CEST - Category: Apple
As we already reported it, Apple will deliver a special event entitled "Lights Camera" during the NAB 2007, which is taking place in Las Vegas till April 19th. It will start at 11h00 local time, 20h00 CET (GMT+1).
If we have no technical problem we should be able to relay this event, as one of our team member will attend it. If Apple prevents all wireless connection, we will post news and update immediately after the end of the presentation.
With Leopard being postponed till October, this "Lights Camera" special event will attract professional as Apple is expected to unveil new version of its audio and video editing solutions, as well as new Cinema display. Some rumors even report that the MacBook Pro 17" might even be updated to sport a video HD-compatible display. Let's hope that Apple talks about hardware and software, and not only about handheld devices (iPod and iPhone).

Adobe Software: Too Expensive in Europe

By linathael. Original by Lionel - 14/04/2007 12:10:58 CEST - Category: Software
As most concerned users would have already spotted it, Adobe used a strange currency converter for setting price of its recently launched software in Europe. While the value of the US dollar has almost never been so low in Euro, most Adobe software are 2 times more expensive in Europe than in US.
A petition has been launched to force Adobe for aligning prices worldwide and not spoiling non-US resident users. There is no reason that most users pay Adobe solutions with a higher price in order for the company to offer lower price in US:
