Intel will offer a System-on-Chips, aka Soc, by the end of the year; its name: Tolopai. As a SoC, Tolopai integrates a Core-based architecture, all controllers (SATA, ICH, DDR2, Ethernet, etc.) into a single chips is designed for embedded system and industrial computer market, and is Intel's answer to its competitors: VIA C7 or AMD Geode.

Most interesting features of Tolopai are its large FSB capabilities (600 to 1200MHz) and its low power consumption (13 to 22W), beside its price as it is an all-in-one solution.
Thanks to a PCI-E bridge, up to 8x, one could integrate this SoC with a third-party GPU, providing enhanced graphical capabilities when compared with an integrated graphical unit (such as GMA950).
How could Apple make use of this Soc? One should immediately think about Apple TV revision 2, as performance is not the driving point, but rather power consumption and price, Intel Tolopai SoC might be the future hardware that will power Apple TV.
