MacWorld: Curtains Everywhere

By linathael. Original by Lionel - 07/01/2007 16:06:34 CET - Category: Apple
The italian website http://www.setteb.it published many photos about installations of booths for the MacWorld; hereafter is one of them.

Apple's booth is almost entirely covered by curtains, an additional proof that Cupertino is preparing numerous new products.
Among them we should mention that Amazon.com removed links and references to iLife '07 and iWork '07 on its website; probably Apple did not really like to have both products, not officially announced by Steve Jobs, but already present in Amazon's catalog.

6 years already!

Macbidouille has been haunting the web for 6 years now! Six years ago, a few friends decided to create a web page where we could share our tips and mods, six years since the interface has been roughly drafted on a piece of paper napkin...
I must say I feel quite emotional while writing this, because we never thought the site would gain the status it now has. Impossible to state that it went beyond our hopes: we had none. Also impossible to state that we reached our goals: we never had any. Indeed we had no ambition, except maybe to have fun while creating together a project. And we were lucky enough that our project was appreciated and federated a great deal of people. So here we are today, fighting almost daily to make sure the load on our servers allows you to enjoy the best possible service.
We feel happy about this rather than proud of it, because all of this is not the benefit of prospective calculations designed to seduce the most people, but only what some might qualify opportunism.
Thanks to you all, making macbidouille what it is by reading us, participating in our forums, and sending us or contributing a good deal of the information that constitutes the treasure of the site. Thanks to the whole team, silently making sure everything works properly and moderating the forums. Thanks to the Hardmac team, ceaselessly instilling life in the US equivalent to the site.
2007 will be a new year full of challenges to be faced, the biggest will undoubtedly be to take in the massive arrivals of switchers who chose Macbidouille as their gateway to the mac universe. Statistics are quite revealing on this subject. Our traffic continues to grow, and the amount of readers accessing the site from a PC has seen a strong increase. If one looks at the [Macbidouille] Switch forum, these people seem to be taking the temperature of the mac community before making the leap, once their last worries have been cleared. And by the way, thanks to all of you who are helping there.
Once again happy new year to you all, and of course to Apple, the common object of our passion, for which 2007 is assured to be a record-breaking year.
PS: thanks to all of you who sent me new year's greetings. Not wishing to send an automated or preformatted answer, I'd rather thank you here.
