Glen and Ken from macdaddyworld discovered that the integrated iSight in Santa Rosa-based MacBook pro is a new camera with enhanced specifications. The sensor is now featuring a 1280x1024 pixels resolution vs. 640x480 pixels for previous MB Pro and current MacBook.iApps are currently not taking advantages of such enhanced resolution and one will probably need to wait for Leopard or for an iApps-dedicated update (maybe after iPhone launch?).

- Samsung Unveils a 57" LCD Display - Lionel - 09:09:12
Source : Digitimes
If you are using a 30" LCD monitor routinely, and now tend to find your virtual desktop too small, Samsung unveiled yesterday new series of LCD monitors, with the largest model featuring a 57" display. The price of such a large LCD monitor remains unknown as it will not be available before the second half of this year. This is definitely a product for some niche markets such as CAD or medical imaging.
We might dream of a 42" Apple Cinema; even though it will also be mostly dedicated to professional usage such as video or photo editing. Samsung also announced its decision to phase-out the 4:3 LCD monitor market this year and to target 22" and larger widescreen monitor market, so prices of 19" to 22" LCD monitor should drop in the coming months.

- Apple Everywhere! - Lionel - 09:08:10
Even though the iPhone will not arrive in Europe before the end of this year, it generates such a buzz around Apple's products that one can see the Apple logo everywhere on advertising panels.
Those advertising campaign are aiming to celebrate the opening of several Apple Shops in Europe, as illustrated by this poster for the Apple Shop in FNAC Digital Paris.

But train stations are also a perfect place to advertise as millions of people are going though those are everyday.

Apple probably decided to increase its exposure in news networks and to all consumers to surf on the iPhone wave coming from the other side of the Atlantic.
