Bill Gates Agrees: DRM Not Used Properly

During a party taking place at Microsoft's Redmond headquarters, Bill Gates made several interesting remarks, which were reported by some of the invited bloggers and web developers:

"DRM is not where it should be,"
"But we don't have the right thing here in terms of simplicity or interoperability,"

It is very surprising to hear this information from Bill Gates while Microsoft is the leader for DRM systems, and its well-known playsforure for digital music protection. So, does Bill Gates really believe what he was saying, or is it an intelligence/marketing action aiming to fool with news networks and consumers to hide the current Microsoft's strategy to get control and promote DRM ... well MS DRM.
