Cupertino announced last Friday, that it will not be able to file its Form 10-K for the 2006 fiscal year as expected, but it should be able to do so, latest on December 29th. The reason behind this delay is of course the current on-going internal investigation concerning stock options irregularities.
As announced by Apple in August, results of this internal audit will most likely require restating of its historical financial statements including previous years.
