Pierre has sent us photos and a short repot:
a friend of mine was asking me to teach him how to use his iPod nano 4GB (70, - EUR, bough in Germany in a Chinese shop). I was a bit surprise by the box, but it really looks like the iPod nano 1G... well at least the box, because the player itself is not a counterfeited iPod nano, simply a bad copy with an integrated FM radio tuner.
The user interface has nothing in common with the original one, nor resembles the other counterfeited iPod nano UI, but there is an "Apple" installation CD with Windows-only application, and a manual in Chinese and English.
If the box is very similar to the iPod nano 1G, the player itself is a ugly copy. Consumers should be really careful when shopping for iPods, and maybe Apple should start communicating about counterfeited iPod nano, or at least warns consumers.
