According to Digitimes, the battle has been raging among Apple subcontractors for the manufacturing of the iPod Video.
Up to now, Apple was relying on both Inventec and Quanta to produce its players. But it looks like production volume issues has disqualified the latter.
According to some sources, Inventec therefore has the monopoly of the iPod Video production, which is estimated to some 1.4 million units per month.
