Apple: all your pod are belong to us

Podcast Ready received an Apple nastygram asking them to "cease and desist"... the offence? the use of the names "myPodder" and "Podcast Ready".
Apple owns the trademark on "iPod" and they think that the use of "pod" as a prefix or suffix can lead to confusion with their products.
I wonder if they will go after photographers using tripods...
