Microsoft shows speech

By Moose. Original by Lionel - 31/07/2006 13:06:00 CEST - Category: PC
Some will say we're trying to ignite a flame war, and they'll be right — well, at least partly since it seems Microsoft doesn't need anybody's help for that — and even the mainstream media and MS news sites can't help but make fun of M$.
Well, you can say what you want but they couldn't have done worse during a demo of Vista's speech recognition feature.
Basically, the software didn't pick a single word of what the guy was saying, and it caused the audience to laugh riotously!
Check it out for yourself here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Y_Jp6PxsSQ.
Die-hard M$ fans will say it is still beta software, but then, if it does not work AT ALL, it's better keep it quiet.
