Blu-Ray Burner: Made by Plextor

Plextor has released specs of its first Blu-Ray burner. It will be an ATAPI device featuring 8MB of cache. Supported media and their corresponding burning speed are listed below:

BD-R and BD-RW single layer (25 Go) 2x
BD-R and BD-RW double layer (50 Go) 2x
DVD +R/-R/+RW 8x
DVD-RW 6x
DVD +R/-R DL 4x
DVD-RAM 5x
CD-R 24x
CD-RW 16x.

It is almost an universal burner, only missing HD-DVD support.
The PX-B900A should be on shelves for Q3 2006, the price is currently unknown.
