A emergency call from Hoover:.
When Adobe merged with Macromedia, many were wondering what would happen to FreeHand. Adobe may not realize what a gem they have in this versatile program. They did release a migration guide from FreeHand to Illustrator, giving us more questions. The purpose of this page is to show your support for FreeHand, a vector application many of us use daily for everything, from logos to page layout to Flash animation. Please leave your comments to show support, also your feature requests for Adobe, for the next version of FreeHand.
It is obviously not a campaign trying to compare FreeHand to Illustrator, both applications complement each other, more than they compete.
To ensure creativity, one should maintain diversity!

Warning, Front Row Enabler 1.2.2 is considered as a beta version
If the HD-DVD won tthe first battle in the blue laser war by being the first to offer medias and readers, the struggle with Blu-Ray is still far from being won.
Next step will probably take place on the burning sector. And there Blu-Ray seems to be leading with a superior capacity, 25 Go vs. 15 for HD-DVD. Who'll win would be quite obvious, unless the second could offer more quickly dual layer medias.
And CMC could be able to initiate mass production of dual layer media, both recordable and rewritable, of a 30 Go capacity. Of course, we'll still have to see how the Blu-Ray camp will react.
What could decide who'll eventually win this battle, might very well be the winner between the XBox 360 and its external HD-DVD reader and the Playstation 3 and its internal Blu-Ray reader.

Front Row 1.2.2
The Front Row Update delivers a variety of fixes for better reliability and compatibility when playing music, photos, and videos on your Macintosh.
This update only shows up for Macs that came with Front Row pre-installed, it does not show up for those using Front Row Enabler. It seems that this update fixes the problems with the movie trailer's server.
