One of our reader, Pixel, has successfully installed and used Aperture 1.1 on his Mac mini Intel, officially not supported. Hereafter is the procedure:
1. Make a read-write disc image of the Aperture DVD (with read AND write access)
2. Mount the created image
3. Go to the Finder and use Apple/command + Shift + g and enter:
/Volumes/Aperture/Packages/Aperture.pkg/Contents/Resources/
then press Enter
4. Remove the InstallationCheck file, then repeat the Finder Apple/command + Shift + g, then enter: /Volumes/Aperture/Packages/ with Apple/command + Shift + g
then start Aperture.pkg and then if you want also Sampleprojects... installation of Aperture 1.0 starts
5. Open package content of 1.1 update and remove the VolumeCheck file in Contents/Resources
6. Make the update and now run Aperture and enter the SN
Of course, one should not expect miracles, but it might allow Mac mini Intel users to enjoy Aperture for some digital photo editing.
