- Unlocking the full potential of your Mac Pro's Sony DW-D150A - Lionel - 20:47:28
The MacPro is often delivered with a Sony DW-D150A SuperDrive, which does not officially exist.

After endless searching and taking a large risk, we discovered that it is in fact a NEC ND-4570.
In XP (as it is not possible under OS X), we succeeded in in returning it to its original identity, which accelerated the reading and writing speed of CDs and added support for DVD-RAM.
You can read it all at the following:

[Update] We have modified the article. Flashing now works in OS X :) (Thanks Andy)

- Fanning the Flames - Lionel - 19:50:29
We're sorry for those who have been holding their breath for weeks awaiting the possible renewal of the MacBook Pro range. This announcement from Denis will not make things easier :)
Just to let you know that I just returned from the Apple Store in London, where they have discounted the MacBook Pro!In Euros, the discount varies from 220 to 300.
There is a 150 to 200 Pound reduction from the standard price... Are the MBPs based on the Meron arriving??? ;-)

- Macbidouille Group Photo - GuyG4 - 16:43:04
Here is the photo of the "Macbidouilleurs" and "MacBidouilleuses" who came to see us at the Apple Expo this year.
In a few weeks, we will have another version to show you, which I made into a Panorama with a Hasselblad XPan. We will be making it into a large banner. It will be useful to use for the expo stand next year.

If you would like a much bigger (and better) version, click here (Attention: for those of you on dial-up, it is 1.4 Megs)
