- Flying windows - Lionel - 09:00:52
Roger, Roger, this is Vincent Zorzi speaking:
As the founding member and codesigner of the "Fenetres Volantes" (Flying Windows) screen saver project, I wanted to tell you that a first public beta is available for download. I would also like to thank objective-cocoa for supporting the project and hosting its website.

We've tested this screensaver. It's very enjoyable and quite impressive. This beta version seems stable and we had no problem with it. However it seems to need a lot of resources. But it is so much fun...

- Apple Makes Good on Motherboard Exchanges - Lionel - 08:58:57
After our post on Wednesday about Apple officially recognizing the noise problem with MacBook Pros, many readers contacted AppleCare.
Although a few days ago their requests would have fallen on deaf ears, they now got their motherboards quickly exchanged under warranty.
The expected time for the repair to be completed is ten days after the machine has arrived at an Apple certified repair center.
