ATI continues to to work to find the most powerful top-of-the-line video card. Its answer should arrive on January 24th and it is called the Radeon X1900. This card will have 16 pixel pipelines like the X1800 XT and 48 Shader units, which is 3 times more.
This significant increase should have a big impact on 3D performance, especially in games, if the rest of the architecture also improves, in particular the memory.
