Two days ago, we were reporting that European AppleResellers have been told that they will not receive additional iPod shipments before Christmas.
We could not get information regarding the status for US resellers. Till yesterday.
An anonymous source has sent us information regarding iPod supplies for US-located AppleResellers:

Independent Apple resellers have not been getting iPods except for the 60G Video. A recent spot check of major big box stores showed that they also were not getting many of the iPods. The Apple company owned stores have lots of inventory except for 4G Black Nano's.

Over the week-end, Apple started shipping 30 G video iPods to the resellers. First
white and then a few Black.

It confirms the situation faced by AppleResellers in Europe. iPod stocks are low, and all shipments are probably used by Apple to ensure larger stocks for all AppleStores (webstore and physical stores).
