Easily modify the bus speed of G4 Sawtooth

XLR8yourmac has published a small article showing how to easily install a "Dip Switch" in the motherboard of a G4 AGP Sawtooth which enables the alteration of the front side bus speed.


It is now possible to choose frequencies between 66 and 133 MHz.
Only 120 is usable, as 133 crashes the machine. Additionally the system does not report the proper frequency :(
Keep in mind that processor will accelerate proportionally! So a 400 MHz CPU will run at 480 MHz with a bus speed of 120 MHz, if it can run that fast.
