It did not take a long time for hackers to bypass the new protection implemented with Mac OSX 10.4.1 x86 in order to install this version on a standard PC.
The newer protection present in the last version 10.4.3 was considered more evolved since up to recently nobody had successfully cracked them.
But as we already mentioned it, any protection can be bypassed; it is only a matter on time. According to OSX86project, a hackers, named Maxxuss, could have successfully modified the kernel in order to install the last OSX x86 version on a non Apple-certified PC.
We do not have details of this exploit, but if this information is indeed confirmed, it might push Apple to reconsider launching officially OSX x86 in the coming weeks together with a x86-based computer model. Especially if the last protection present in OSX.4 x86 were considered as the final/optimal ones...
