Incredible as it may seem, Microsoft is about to launch a Collector Package in Japan to celebrate Window's 20th anniversary.
The pack will consist of a probably unmodified Windows XP (although it will feature a special "20th anniversary edition" desktop theme) and sometimes painful remembrances such as replicas (non-workable)of Windows 95 to 2000 install CDs. There will also be stickers, a video featuring Bill Gates himself and a demo version of Windows Vista.
It really seems that Microsoft is trying to catch back and create the same kind of brand and leader culting as we've always had on Mac...
