PC RAID cards in Macs

Following the excellent article written by Gotchi on RAID (only available in French for the time being), and its success, a Canadian reader has sent us additional information.
He has tested Megaraid cards that are identical to those ones provided by Apple, but not officially Mac compatible; but IT WORKS!
The MegaRAID SATA 150-4, also identical to Apple's one, works without problem in Mac and cost only 289$ (VAT excluded)!
Even better, the SATA 300-8X card sporting 8 SATAII ports is also working perfectly as the SCSI-320 (SCSI 320-2X) card.

PS: If a reader interested by one of this card and with good programming skills wants to create a GUI to manage card drivers, it would be perfect :)
