One can not conclude yet, but having PowerBooks on the
Refurb Store could be the first sign of a possible update for those computer models.
PS - the same is currently true for the UK Apple Refurb Store - 15" (with or without SD) and 17" - less 20%. WombatNews
This is the end of an era. The next Treo model from Palm will run Windows CE.
This news is also probably meaning the end of Palm OS in a near future. The company developing Palm OS, known as PalmSource had been bought by another company a couple of month ago, making interaction between Palm hardware and software even lousier.
Apple could probably make a "coup" by releasing a MacOSX "light" version dedicated to PDA before Microsoft kill completely the competition and get a close to 100% monopoly over PDA OS...

We did not get confirmation from other sources, but according to
TCS Macs, Apple is already shipping Mac mini 1.5GHz to resellers. This new model should also feature a 64MB VRAM GPU.
We have seen a screen capture showing clearly the 1.5GHz CPU frequency, but we can not conclude regarding the 64 MB VRAM (no real proof were sent to us). It is quite easy too overclock its Mac mini, mine is still running at 1.67GHz happily since month.
In France, Darty is proposing the Mac mini 1.25GHz/256MB RAM for 399€, and
CLG, is selling it at 358€ during the apple Expo period.
