A short sum up of Steve conference

By Kalomir. Original by Lionel - 20/09/2005 16:03:16 CEST - Category: Apple
We managed to get some details about the press conference by Steve Jobs and his team. Here are some of those.
Steve was glad the market shares had doubled in Europe, and especially due to the great success met by the brand in Britain. He noticed some mistakes had been made in France, which shall be corrected.
Steve was asked about the majors willing to increase the online music price. He formally rejected this idea, arguing that the music sold online is already more profitable as there was no specific promotion, and that to increase the price would be calling for more piracy.
Steve has indicated that the first MacIntel will not be released before June 2006.
Of course Steve did not want to comment or give any details regarding future MacIntel computers, arguing that Apple had already been copied by Microsoft and SONY, so it was out of question to give any information prior release.
To conclude, mac-dedicated websites, or magazine were NOT invited to this Q&A Conference...
