ATI is innovating by releasing the first PC and Mac compatible graphic card. Available for 199$, this card will feature 256MB of DDRRAM with a 128-bits bus, and will be compatible for AGP 4x and 8x.
If the price is relatively high, this new card has a dual-link to connect the 30" Apple Display.
This is an excellent idea, and let's hope that this is the first model of a long list of PC/Mac compatible cards. It might also give idea to competitors; and in addition it also open the possibility for PC users to enjoy a 30" Apple display without requiring the expensive graphic card usually found associated with it.
