As we were expecting it after the official announcement of Intel processor transition, the current news/info related to Apple products are nothing but iPod news.
Now to celebrate the 500 million downloads on the iTunes Music Store, Apple is organizing a big event: "500 Millionth Download Promotion"
To celebrate, the purchaser of every 100,000th song until we sell 500 million will receive an iPod mini and a 50-song gift card.
500 million songs on the iTunes Music Store marks a dramatic acceleration of the purchase of legally downloadable music on the Internet. And the music fan who purchases that song will receive a prize that’s just as dramatic — 10 iPods for yourself and family or friends (choose from any model iPod, iPod mini, iPod U2, or iPod shuffle); a gold 10,000-song gift card for the music store; 10 additional 50-song gift cards to go with those iPods; and a trip for you and three guests to see Coldplay on its current tour, with front-row seats (subject to availability), and “back-stage” passes for a meet n’ greet with the band (guaranteed availability).
Micron will propose in a near future ultra compact DDR and DDR2 modules.

With such modules, it will be possible to reduce the space allocated to RAM slots, and it will also be easier to cool down RAM modules, especially for servers where space matters.
The price of such modules is still unknown.
While everybody was expecting the iPhone launch last Tuesday, the iTMS-compatible mobile phone from motorol is still invisible.
In addition, Apple has released iTunes 4.9 and unveiling all functions and specifications linked to iTMS-comptible phone, except its design. We currently think that the iPhone launch has been delayed at the last minutes especially due to the fact that iTunes4.9 is now available! So the French newspaper "Le Figaro" was probably right when then published the date and info regarding iPhone official launch date.
It would not be the first time that Apple delays at the last minute the official launch of a product. today is Tuesday, the favorite Apple's day to introduce new products. There is also another date reserved by Apple... July 7th.
