Harmony Central : New Ownership

The audio business is getting quite active recently. After the the recent take over of the 2 largest audio console and mixing technology manufacturers (SSL by Peter Gabriel and David Engelke, and AMS Neve by SAE), Harmony-Central, one of the most important and active audio/music information website, has announced that it has been acquired by Musician's Friend, the largest online and catalog music gear retailer.
Harmony central creators are ensuring that the website will remain independent and operate as a "publisher and forum, providing the news, reviews, tech tips, resources, and musician-to-musician sharing of information".
We hope that it will turn to be true otherwise one of the most popular music site on the web could simply become a large online catalog. That will be a shame.
