FastMac is proposing a new battery for iPod ranging from 1G to 3G with 4G and iPod mini and Photo to come in a near future.
they claim that "it lasts 2-3x longer than any other iPod battery" originating from apple or competitors. On the technical point of view, TruePower technology based on nanotechnology would allow to create a highly conductive materials with pore size ranging from 50 to 100 angstroms generating 100 times more power density than a conventional lithium ion battery.
There is not real number or validated information despite their claim :"Over 30 months of continuous testing, TruePower has demonstrated battery life exceeding 3000 cycles with more than 70% retention of capacity.".
At least this battery seems to be excellent on paper, let see it turns to be true in reality. drop us a message if you have any experience with this battery
For iPod 1&2G the TruePower battery costs 39.95$ and 29.95$ for iPod 3G.
