LightScribe technology allows to "print" grayscale images on a CD/DVD, on the side that is not used for data.
It seems sales of compatible burners have been fairly poor, and BenQ has thus decided to lower its prices.
No wonder sales have been low: Lightscribe devices are 40% more expensive than normal burners and CD/DVDs compatible with the technology are... nowhere to be found!

Already 10.4.1 in a near future?

By linathael. Original by Lionel - 18/04/2005 10:23:34 CEST - Category: Mac OS X - Source: Mac Rumors
Tiger, Mac OS X 10.4 will be available only on April 29th. However, on the web page indicating hardware requirements for DVD Studio Pro 4, it is mentioned that one will need Mac OS X 10.4.1 to visualize DVD HD.
A typo mistake is rather unlikely. Apple has probably chosen to finish up DVD HD play options rather than releasing this software too early.
In any case, 10.4.1 update should arrive quickly after Tiger official availability.
