One of the biggest spammer was sentenced to a serious fine, 9 years in jail, by a USA judge.
He was sending out around 10 million emails per day, an illegal activity which was generating a $50,000/month revenue!
The fight against spam is just starting, and far away to be finished because it is a highly profitable illegal activity.

Yamaha is getting more and more interested by the Mac/OSX platform, and keeps developing applications for us. After the recent release of
SMAF Sound Decorator, Yamaha is now proposing Wave Sound Decorator. This software encodes .wav or .aiff file into SMAF (.mmf).
http://smaf-yamaha.com.
Engineers from Yamaha Japan have read in our forum that few users were encountering problems when using SMAF Sound Decorator. If you are one of those users, please take contact with us we will forward your message to them (in English or in French).
Microsoft, while dealing with EU complains, had successfully convince all other competitors, thanks to large "donation", to stop on-going litigations. Real is the only one still fighting, but it is alone...well WAS ALONE!
Indeed, IBM, Oracle, Nokia and Red Hat, through the European Committee for Interoperable Systems, have decided to join Real in its fight. This new event will for sure legitimate even more the current EU legal actions.

We are publishing a message from Antonia Communication Agency.
Dear macidouille/hardmac readers, the official website of "le Palais de Tokyo" in Paris is now completed — http://www.palaisdetokyo.com.
As part of its project to create an exchange and online creation community, "le Palais de Tokyo" has decided to launch a non-profitable web radio to promote the streaming and sharing of copyleft-type alternative musics - all music tracks can legally be downloaded. This web radio is running exclusively on Macs: tracks have been encoded via iTunes, the server is an iMac, and the web radio is available thanks to QuickTime Streaming Server. We were not using any other third-party applications to complete this project.
The web radio is available here:
