Hopping on Iridium with a Mac

An Iridium user (FYI, Iridium is a satellite telephone system reachable anywhere on the globe) managed to use the network via his Mac. As you might imagine, the steps are not as easy as on a PC, since there are no special software for the Apple platform.
You will need a usb->serial adapter and the modem script that Ehintz created after gathering technical infos from the Iridium tech support.
