8x slim dvd burner : UJ-835

Panasonic (Matshita) has introduced the UJ-835. This new drives takes on where the UJ-825 left off :
- 3X Speed DVD-RAM Writing
- 8X Speed DVD-R Writing
- 4X Speed DVD-RW Writing
- 24X Speed CD-R Writing
- 10X Speed CD-RW Writing
- 8X Speed +R Writing
- 4X Speed +RW Writing
Without much doubt one can guess those will appear in the newer revision of the PowerBooks, and most probably in the next revision of the iMac G5. But nothing stops you from buying one now and swapping your current drive for that bad boy.
