Noisy iMac G5, Apple in the know

And now for today's episode...
As iMac G5s reach their new owners, we receive confirmations of what has already been reported.
Not all 17" iMac G5 are affected, but the cases are legion, nonetheless.
According to a few sources, Apple started to give the issue a closer look, and are in the process of isolating the serie(s) of defective power supplies. They should then offer a replacement program.
It might take a while though, since the iMac G5 support program hasn't been started yet in Europe.
