Flash a NEC DVD burner under OSX

CDfreaks is proposing on its homepage an OSX compatible API allowing users to flash their NEC burners. Up to recently, to install a new or region-free firmware, it was necessary to connect your burner to a PC. All interfaces are supposed to be supported: IDE, SCSI, FireWire and USB. Warning: this is a raw API. There is no GUI, and up to now we have no report of a test.
