Apple Store has changed the price of the optional 128MB (instead of 64MB) Radeon 9700 mobility for PowerBook G4. It move from 47 to 95€ without much notice/explanation.
That's a pity for macusers because this option is worth it.
Firmware 1.10 for DVR 108 is improving DVD burning speed, according to Pioneer.
We have burned a DVD-R at 12x and compared the results obtained with the 1.06; and indeed, we gained 10 seconds, now only 6min 50’’ are enough to burn a DVD media at 12x.
As before, we could not test 16x burning speed, since there is no compatible media, nor patched firmware yet.

E-Data company has filed in 1985 a patent related to "System for Reproducing Information in Material Objects as a Point of Sale Location". Based on this broad description and claim, this company is asking money to all companies having online shops or business. Apple has signed an agreement, and will pay royalties, probably to avoid long and complicated justice procedures which will probably cost more.
