Just a quick message to tell you I've created a small package called DiscRecording Activator, which installs the DiscRecordingEngine hacked by your good works and which will soon also allow to install DeviceProfiles for the various manufacturers (right now it only works for my own burner... so I need some input from the Hardmackers here) |

With Patchburn2, you can easily create a profile for your own burner. Combining those two hacks, your burner will be recognized by the system at the manufacturer level.
