[Notes : SupInfo is a place where the best IT students are going to learn, and develop their knowledge on IT, network, OS, software,...this is a place delivering a degree bit higher than a Master, without being a specialized PhD]
Supinfo started last year a partnership with Apple, and just released in its media/press center on its web site a document emphzing their relation with Apple, and how Apple is a great partner.
You can find the info on the press media center, on the SupInfo web site (in french):

Here is a fantastic piece :
We have been seduced by Apple's performance and innovation since the release of MacOSX. We are sharing their vision and we are believing strongly in the success of Apple's technologies. But it is first, the real motivation and the deep involvement of Apple France teams for our Institution and our methods which are the main reason of our decision to continue this partnership. We are sure that this partnership will be a real opportunities for our students" said Alick Mouriesse, Supinfo President.

Many of you have noticed the new commercial ad for 9 Telecom DSL [french internet provider] which was on TV recently and shows a computer displaying iTunes.
For all those who wouldn't or couldn't have seen it yet, Jean-Philippe has made a QuickTime movie out of it.

[Upd]
For our English speaking readers : have fun too !
Another reader just managed to do the
little hack [i.e. using an Amex] (and that is probably illegal) which allows us, French people to sign up for the iTunes Music Store. As a matter of proof, here is the mail he got :

Thanks to Dirindal for the "bidouille" [=kludge, hack]
In the iMovie serie, I have plugged my iPod to the sound system of my car by pulling a jack from the dock, set on the central flatboard, up to the CD changer where I plugged it into the audio output of the changer.
hence, instead of having 10 cds to listen to, I can have access to my whole collection. :) i had to go through the trunk because if I needed to pull a cable straight from the car radio set, I'd have to put down the whole board... Not very handy to do, and a hassle as i am waiting for my iTrip 3G. |
Thanks to Boris for this fun tidbit !
I send you a little tidbit, to squeeze between to benchs of G5: here is how you give a second life to old PCs in Skopje (Macedonia) where I have a few relatives.
They are very talented in grilled food there, and this could be an example of what reed could do to enhance the Apple Expo food, per instance!
