Connect your Mac to cellular networks the easy way using launch2net
Using launch2net
The software itself is quite simple and has only a single window. When starting, launch2net automatically looks for a cellular modem and connects to it:

The previous screen caps are done on the demo version, and the following on the registered version (thanks to Nova Media for providing us with a license for this review). Side note: in order to register your application, you will have to do so using the phone's internet connection.
The main screen shows the signal strength (like on your cellphone) and past connections statistics. The word "session" is used for the connection session itself, while "period" cumulates your sessions' statistics for a given time span, which you can configure using the app's preferences. That is quite useful when you have a monthly subscription with a certain amount of data transfer allowed (see screenshot below).

Connection statistics show total up, down and cumulated data transfers and time, which allows you to closely monitor your usage.
To connect to the 'net, simply click the "Connect" button. And this is where the magic operates: it just works (as some famous Steve would say)!
