Although disassembling a MacBook is not too complicated, it is always necessary to have a certain delicacy, a small Phillips screwdriver, and especially to never force anything. The screw's heads are fragile, additionally some of them screw into plastic and are even more fragile.
The only real difficulty comes from the fact that there are so many different screw sizes. There are some in all sorts of sizes and forms. Although we're providing a schema for the length of every screw, be careful to not mix them up as you risk breaking something, perhaps even the motherboard!
Of course, before doing anything, turn of the machine and remove the battery.
Remove the 8 screws which go around the perimeter of the machine.



Then turn the computer over. Rather than leaving the computer closed, we recommend that you work with the machine open, placed on a soft cloth near the edge of a table. This will avoid too much pressure being exerted on the screen.
Remove the 3 screws from the cover which provides access to the memory and hard drive, and the 3 screws found beneath.
