1) Introduction-Installation
Many applications have been linked to Mac hardware and software history. Among them Toast was identified from the very beginning as the reference solution for burning CDs on Macs. From that time, several other applications for burning CDs and DVDs have been developed, but once more, Toast was the first one (even before any Apple's branded solution) to support Blu-ray burners on Mac (Toast 7.1.2 BD). Today we will concentrate on the completely new version of Toast, version 8.0.
Installing Toast 8 Titanium is as usual very easy; simply copy the Suite to your application folder.
When launching the application for the first time, you will be prompted to enter the serial number (even before choosing to install or not bundled software).
Installation options remain identical to Toast version 7, and it supports Blu-ray media, something not available natively with Mac OSX yet. Toast 8.0 comes with the last version of DivX codec.
