Burning Blu Ray media on Mac

The burner
Externally, this burner seems identical to any burner, even though it is slightly longer.
Installing it in a Mac Pro is not a problem, simply remove the front panel then install it as any other optical drive.
To make things easier, you can open the tray.
If you install it in a Mac Pro, remember to change the jumper in the back to set the drive as "cable select".
Hereafter are the specifications of this burner:
It burns all media as already mentioned, except double layer BD media, but such media are currently not available on the market.
This burner ships with a 4x Verbatim BD-R blank media. Sony BD-R and BD-RW media were bought as additional media for our burning tests.

Once installed in the Mac, it is immediately supported by OSX, but as a standard DVD burner, BD capabilities are not recognized.
