First boot with Leopard

2006-08-12par Ewok

Following WWDC's annoucements, find in this article an illustrated preview of the new features Leopard brings you.

4. Mail

MAIL v.3 offers new possibilities for page layout. There are pre-set templates which can be modified on the fly. Publishing is simple and Apple ensures us that our correspondent will see the message properly. The images can be changed by dragging and dropping and a browser is available to quickly find the ones your looking for.

Leopard integrates a RSS engine which can be utilised by every application (dedicated API). Thus mail has also become an RSS reader.

A new note-taking and to-do list functionality is available. This provides increased accessibility to the to-do list in iCal.
